The Experience
Taking pride in its Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman heritage, Thessaloniki allures travellers with ancient buildings, vibrant cafes, and charming streets. This six-day trip serves as an opportunity to discover its gems and indulge in the world-famous Mediterranean cuisine.
When not out and about, holidaymakers can relax in the four-star Minerva Premier Hotel. Boasting elegant interiors and central location, the hotel offers accommodation in en suite rooms which are equipped with marble bathrooms, minibars, and private balconies. Appetites are catered for at the on-site restaurant.
The Itinerary
- Day 1 – 21 Aug 2018: after arrival in Thessaloniki, meet the tour guide and get transferred to the hotel; leisure time for the rest of the day
- Day 2, 22 Aug 2018: Take a full-day tour around the city’s landmarks – see the White Tower, the symbol of the city, and learn more about its history at the museum, visit the Arch of Galerius and the Rotunda with its mosaics, and head to the Upper City to admire the Citadel and the Byzantine Walls, as well as panoramic views of the gulf; the tour ends with some free time to shop for gifts and souvenirs in the Egnatia Street and Tsimiski Street
- Days 3-5, 23-25 Aug 2018: Leisure time to lounge by the pool, explore the city or explore Greece with optional tours
- Day 6, 26 Aug 2018: Enjoy some free time before transfer to the airport for the flight back
The Fine Print:
Cancellation policy: No modification or cancellation allowed after booking confirmation. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable to another destination once confirmed. Validity: Valid for a trip between 21-26 Aug 2018. Price for 1 infant under 2 years old, 1 child between 2-12 years old, or 1 adult, depending on option chosen. Please note that option one is for one person sharing a double room – you must buy min. 2 vouchers to complete the booking. Booking: Must book by 5 Aug 2018. Booking required by phone: 0545 842 193 or by email: ehab.e@snttadubai.com, and subject to availability. Attach your coupon there. Check availability before the purchase. Limit of 5 vouchers per person. May buy extra vouchers as gifts but not to extend the stay. Transportation details: Valid for direct flights from Dubai to Thessaloniki. Travel documents to be received up to 48 hours before departure. You must go with your boarding pass printed at the airport, at the risk of having to pay additional charges. Depending on flight schedules and transfers, the first or the last night might not be entirely spent in the hotel. Baggage allowance: 20kg and 5kg hand luggage. Airport transfers and airport taxes included. In-flight meals are not included but can be purchased additionally during the flights. Please note that insurance and visa fees are not included. Visa can be arranged with the Travel Provider directly. A passport valid min. 6 months after the return date is mandatory. Other Information: The hotel is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. City tax included. Valid for stay in a single room or double/twin room for 1 person, depending on option chosen. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children below 12 years old in a twin room, and 1 adult and 1 child below 12 in a single room. Extra tour options to Athens are available and may be arranged during the trip. Original values based on stays in standard single/double/twin room between 21-26 Aug 2018.
