The Deal
The joys of the open road await drivers who can take to the wheel of a fully-insured small car including a Toyota Yaris, Hyundai Accent, KIA Rio or a KIA Certo, or a large vehicle including a Toyota Corolla or Hyundai Elantra. Cars can be driven for up to 250km a day, enabling users to run errands, reach a number of nearby sights and attractions, or even drive over to Abu Dhabi.

The Merchant
Asfar provides car rentals to Emirates residents, giving them the freedom to travel wherever they choose. A number of 2014/2015 car models are available to rent, while delivery and pick-up can be arranged from airports and locations across Sharjah and Dubai.

The Fine Print:
Expires 180 days after purchase. Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as a gift. Booking required by phone, contact 04-2555143 from 9am to 6pm Sat to Thursday Or 055 731 5144 from 11 am to 9pm or by email: carrental@asfartrip.com. Prior booking (subject to availability) at least 2 days in advance. Driver must be at least 21 years old and possess a UAE driving license which has been valid for at least 1 year. Security deposit can either be a cash amount of AED 1500, a Pre-Authorised credit card of AED 1500, or a security cheque of AED 2500. Passport copy w/ visa page, Emirates ID, Driver’s License & Credit Card. Working hours: 10 am to 7 pm from Saturday to Thursday. Rental period is to be strictly adhered to. Additional charges will be applicable once the rental period is over. AED. 5/ per salik usage. A maximum of 350 km./day is allowed. Extra kilometers will be charged at 0.50 fills/kilometer. Administrative surcharge of AED 40/ per fine will be applied and is to be paid upon invoice submission. Petrol is not included. A refuelling surcharge of 20% will be applicable if the vehicle is not returned with a full tank. Excess Liability is AED. 1500/ with Police Report and if less than 25 years old, any accident or damages will require a police report and insurance will cost AED 1500 + 10% of the total loss.
