Get a first-hand experience of the wonders of Nepal with a three-day trip visiting Chisopani, Nagarkot and Changunarayan
The Experience
Travellers may discover Nepal’s rural culture and Himalayan views during this sightseeing experience including accommodation, breakfast and trekking with simple preparation and minimum equipment. Main attractions along the trail include the following: Shivapuri National Park, panoramic views of mountains from Chisopani, sunrise views from Nagarkot, and visit to the ancient temple of Changunarayan (listed as a World Heritage Site).
Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Sundarijal by car / bus / van (early in the morning around 8am) and hike up to Chisopani (2200m) for 5 hours, crossing Shivapura National Park. Overnight in Chisopani (Lunch / Dinner).
Day 2: Wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise from Chisopani, guests can see panoramic view of twenty snow covered mountains. Breakfast. Hike to Nagarkot for six hours through straight trail. Overnight in Nagarkot. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 3: Sunrise view and panoramic views (early in the morning) of various mountains including Mount Everest. Breakfast. Trek down to Changunarayan and visit old hindu temple Changunaraya. Drive to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu. (Breakfast / Lunch)
The Fine Print:
Validity: Valid for departures on flexible date, until 25 May 2017. Excluded dates/periods: July and August. Price for 1, 2 or 4 people, depending on option chosen.
