Located on sandy shores overlooking the mangrove islands of Umm Al Quwain, Flamingo Beach Resort entices visitors with modern interiors and serves as a suitable place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Guests can take advantage of an array of various activities such as fishing, crab hunting, snorkelling, and flamingo-spotting tours or simply bask in the sun on the serene private beach and indulge in the unspoilt views of the lagoon.
After an eventful day, guests can unwind in air-conditioned rooms which feature classic decor, flat-screen TVs, hot drink-making facilities and en suite bathroom facilities.
Various dishes of international cuisine can be savoured at the on-site restaurant, while cafe and pool bar serves up a selection of light snacks and refreshing beverages.

Situated in the north of the United Arab Emirates, Umm al-Quwain is a place of significant archaeological interest, while its modern history began approximately 200 years ago and resulted in Umm al-Quwain becoming part of the UAE in 1971.
The least populous of the seven UAE emirates, with seven islands lying to the east of the mainland peninsula, the emirate is a suitable destination for those looking to recharge their batteries. The largest of the islands, Sinniyah, is one of the largest areas of undisturbed and varied coastal environment remaining in the UAE.
History enthusiasts will find a number of places to visit, including Umm Al Quwain Fort, once home to the emirate’s ruler, the Old Harbour surrounded by coral stone houses, and Al-Dour, the largest pre-Islamic site on the Persian Gulf coast and formerly an important trading port.
Crab Hunting Itinerary
The trip starts at around 6pm-7pm with group arrival at the hotel and light snacks with soft drinks. The group will then depart by boat for one-hour crab hunting near Mangrove Island with professional assistance throughout the experience. All passengers will be equipped with life jackets, spears and a water-resistant torch per each couple. After the trip, guests can enjoy a buffet service consisting of the catch of the day crab dish; there is also an option for house beverages. It is recommended to take swimwear and towels for the experience. Please note that the timings may be subject to change.

Cancellation Policy: No modification or cancellation allowed after booking confirmation. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed. Validity: Valid until 31 Oct 2020. Excluded dates/periods: UAE public holidays. For stays on Thursday or Friday, a weekend supplemental charge of AED 150 per room is payable directly to the hotel at check-in. Price for 2 adults and 1 child below 6 years old sharing existing bedding. Booking: Bookings must be made at least 48 hours before arrival and by 28 Sep 2020. Guests are required to provide a valid identification card (passport, UAE driving license or UAE national ID) at check-in. Limit of 5 vouchers per stay. May buy vouchers as gifts. Other Information: The hotel is located in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. City tax included. Valid for stay in a Deluxe Room for two adults and one child (below 6 years old) sharing the existing bedding with parents. Additional persons: The maximum occupancy of the room is two adults and two children (below 12) sharing existing bedding. One child below 6 years old eats as per parents’ meal plan and sleeps free of charge when sharing existing bedding. Children aged 6-12 can stay in the room for a surcharge of AED 50, payable directly to the hotel. Extra bed is available for AED 150, payable to the hotel at check-in. A maximum of one extra bed is permitted in the room (and subject to availability).
