Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival in Hanoi; sip on a welcome drink while check-in to the hotel and enjoy some free time in the afternoon

Day 2: Hanoi–Halong Lan Ha Bay Cruise:

Pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the bay where the cruise departs
Tuck into lunch while cruising past the majestic limestones rising from the emerald waters of Lan Ha Bay
Visit Van Ta area and Bright Cave by a bamboo boat and see local floating houses
Kayak and swim around the boat before cruising to the sleeping area; make the most of the onboard facilities, lounge by the hot tub or in the sauna, sip on some cocktails, and take part in a cooking demonstration before dinner is served
In the evening, have some fun while squid fishing, dancing or just mingling with other travellers

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island – Hanoi:

Start the day early with a Vovinam martial art class before light breakfast
Visit Cat Ba World Biosphere Reserve and Hoa Cuong Cave housing imposing stalagmites and stalactites
Tuck into brunch buffet before disembarking and heading back to the hotel

Day 4: Hanoi – Hoalu – Tamcoc:

Transfer to Ninh Binh province to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu housing the temples of King Dinh and King Le
Head to Tam Coc Wharf for buffet Vietnamese lunch
Board Sampan boats to visit caves and take in countryside views
Head back to Tam Coc Wharf to rest and bike around the village
Head back to Hanoi and say goodbye to the tour guide
