The Experience
Explore Vietnam’s historic northern provinces on a seven-day tour to Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa, Hoang Lien Son Mountain, Y Linh Ho and more. Behold remarkable centuries-old sites, sample delicious Vietnamese cuisine made by the locals, kayak through treasured stretches of water, fish for exotic squid, and learn about Vietnam from an English-speaking tour guide.Â
The tour is complemented with accommodation in three- or four-star hotels, boasting a convenient location and on-site amenities. Twin or double room feature air conditioning and private bathrooms.
ItineraryÂ
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel and an overnight stay
Day 2: Hanoi–Halong Cruise: Head to Halong Bay to board a cruise; enjoy lunch on board while passing by the limestone islands, explore Sung Sot Cave and climb a hill on Titov Island to get mesmerising views; party on the sundeck in the evening and have dinner followed by socialising, board games, squid fishing, or leisure time
Day 3: Cruise–Halong–Hanoi: Start the day with a tai-chi lesson or a photo hunt, followed by breakfast; kayak around the Luon Cave and continue the cruise passing by Ba Hang village and Dog Islet; later on, enjoy fruit carving demonstration, cooking class and traditional Vietnamese lunch aboard before disembarking and getting transferred to Hanoi for an overnight stay
Day 4: Hanoi-Sapa–Cat Cat Village: Head to Sapa to enjoy local specialities for lunch and learn more about the traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people; then take a short trek to Cat Cat – village home to H’mong ethnic group and get more insight into their culture; head back to Sapa in the afternoon
Day 5: Sapa -Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Hanoi: After breakfast, trek to Y Linh Ho and then further through the rice terraces to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai for some picnic and picture-like views; visit the people of Dzay in their Ta Van village before heading back to Sapa and then to Hanoi
Day 6: Hanoi: Leisure time to explore Hanoi, do some shopping or simply relax; overnight stay in Hanoi
Day 7: Leisure time before transfer to the airport
The Fine Print:
Cancellation Policy: Modifications possible, subject to room availability. No cancellation allowed after booking confirmation. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed. No-shows will forfeit their voucher. Validity: Valid until 30 Dec 2020. Blackout date 23-27 Jan 2020. Single travellers incur a surcharge of US$160 (AED 590) for 3-star package and US$299 (AED 1,099) for 4-star package, payable directly to Tour Operator on arrival in Hanoi. Price per person based on double occupancy (double or twin room shared with another person). Must buy two vouchers to complete the booking. Gala dinner surcharge will be applied on 24 Dec and 31 Dec for cruise stay. Booking: Mandatory booking required by email: info@halongtoursbooking.com. Must book min. 12 days in advance: the last book by date: 18 Dec, 2020 Limit of 4 vouchers per person. Can be bought as a gift but not to extend the stay. Other Information The hotels are located in Hanoi and Sapa, Vietnam. All taxes included. Airport transfers included. Valid for stay in a deluxe double or twin room for 1 or 2 people, depending on option chosen. Please note that flights, transportation other than specified, items of a personal nature, porterage, tipping and sightseeing are not included. A passport valid for at least 6 months after your return date is mandatory. Additional persons: Children 3 years old and under stay free of charge with 2 paying adults when sharing existing bedding. Children aged from 4 to 7 stay for 75% of adult Special Deal price when staying with 2 paying adults and sharing existing bedding. Children aged 8 and 9 stay for 95% of adult Special Deal price on a rollaway bed when staying with 2 paying adults.
