The Experience

The Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan

Arrive at the airport in Yerevan, be met and greeted by the local travel representative and head to the hotel; after checking in at the hotel, enjoy some leisure time in the city

Day 2: Yerevan City and Azat Canyon

After breakfast, pay a visit to Mother Armenia, a statue which was constructed to replace a monumental statue of Joseph Stalin
Later, head to the Cascade, a giant stairway in the capital city which allows walkers to enjoy views of central Yerevan and Mount Ararat
Visit the Opera House and the Republic Square; the Square is famous for the dancing water fountains located at the north-eastern end along the National Gallery; the buildings around the Square are made of rose and white Armenian tufa stones and provide a great insight into the architectural heritage of Armenia
During the next part of the tour, travellers will go down to Azat canyon, famous for miraculous natural monuments as well as amazing basalt columns of volcanic lava
Explore the Garni temple, the only survived pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun Mihr
Pay a visit to Geghard, an ancient Armenian monastery, partly carved out of a mountain

Day 3: Tsaghkador – Lake Sevan – Dilijan

In the morning head to Tsaghkadzor, a cosy town and a well-known ski resort located north of the capital Yerevan in the picturesque Tsakhkunyats canyon. Take a chance to relax amidst virgin woods, Alpine meadows and green valleys.
The next step of the trip is Lake Sevan, known as The Jewel of Armenia. The lake is located in the very middle of Armenian Highlands in a huge mountain bowl framed with mountain peaks.
After visiting the lake, head to Dilijan, one of the most important resorts of Armenia situated in Dilijan National Park and famous for its unspoilt natural surroundings. The tour continues to the 13th-century Haghartsin Monastery which is nestled in forested mountains and creates a magical impression of the lost world

Day 4: Departure

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport for the flight back home
