The Experience

On this 3-night tour holidaymakers have the chance to delve into the tombs and temples of Ancient Egypt. In Cairo, travellers will visit the Great Pyramids, Lord of the Sphinx, The Egyptian Museum, and Khan El- Khalili Bazaar. In the ancient city of Alexandria, the tour will take guests to Fort Qaitbey, the Bibliotheca Alexandria and Montaza Garden.

Holidaymakers may choose between accommodation at the five-star Radisson Blu Alexandria or the five-star Movenpick Cairo Media City. Both hotels provide en suite rooms with air-conditioning and TVs, while on-site restaurants provide a variety of savoury local and international cuisine. Depending on availability, different hotels of the same standard might be offered.

Itinerary

Day 1: Alexandria

Depart at 9:35pm, arrive Alexandria airport at 11:25pm. Meet and greet service on arrival followed by transfer to the selected hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned coach. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Alexandria (no meals).

Day 2: Alexandria-Cairo

After breakfast, the guide will take the guests to visit the highlights of Alexandria city. View from outside Fort Qaitbey, this squat and dinky fort has been standing guard over Alexandria’s harbour since 1480 then visit the Bibliotheca Alexandria which contains a host of museums as well as one of the modern world’s most ambitious libraries. Its architecture – a giant sun disk – presides over the waterfront cornice, while inside, a huge reading room can hold eight million volumes. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious Mediterranean lunch.

Then proceed to Montaza garden passing by El Corniche, the wide waterfront road which is as much a symbol of the city as any of its monuments. It’s here that holidaymakers get a real feel for the era of cosmopolitan elegance and decadence that marked this city in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Much of the architecture from this era still stands along the Corniche, though these days, During the stroll travellers can check out the colonial remnants of the Cecil Hotel and Windsor Palace Hotel that are still the key harbour-side addresses for visitors who want to wallow in bygone-days ambience. The Cecil played host to Winston Churchill and the British Secret Service during WWII, the actress Sofia Loen and both hotels have endeavoured to restore and keep much of their original Edwardian charm.

Arrive Montaza garden, it is an oasis of calm on the city’s eastern edge, it is a lush haven of tall palm trees, trimmed lawns, and blossoming flowers, There are two palaces on the grounds. The first one, Al Salamlik, and al Haramlik which built with a unique architectural style. After finishing this amazing long day, driving to enjoy rest of trip in Cairo. Day 3: Cairo

After breakfast, the guide will escort tourists to visit the Pyramids. Giza’s Pyramids, Egypt’s most famed and feted structures, these ancient tombs of kings, guarded by the serene Sphinx, have wowed spectators for centuries. No trip to Egypt is complete without a visit here. These iconic monuments are a tribute to the might, power, and ambition of Egypt’s Pharaonic rulers. Then customers are going to have lunch at a local restaurant. Then proceed to visit Cairo’s Egyptian Museum which is one of the world’s great museum collections. It is a treasure trove of the Pharaonic world. Rest of day is free at leisure, where guests can visit Khan El Khalili bazaar, which is the major souk (market) in the historic centre and main attraction for tourists. Overnight in Cairo – meals (breakfast and lunch)

Day 4: Cairo-Departure

Free day at leisure, holidaymakers can explore the country on their own or chose one of our amazing optional tours. Around 5pm, the adventure is over as tourists will be transferred to Alexandria airport to board their flight back to home. Meals (breakfast)
