The Experience
This three-day tour serves as an opportunity to explore Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital city, and see the local natural beauty, Wenchi Crater Lake. Travellers can enjoy the city and its gems at their own pace and get some insight into Ethiopian art at the National Museum, browse the local markets for some traditional crafts, and see prehistoric fossils. On the second day, holidaymakers are taken on a full-day trip through the peaceful Ethiopian countryside to the Wenchi Crater Lake, an extinct volcano crater housing a lake, hot mineral springs, waterfalls, and valleys.
After an eventful day, relaxation can be enjoyed in the Caravan Hotel which offers contemporary accommodation in the heart of the city. The hotel’s rooms feature elegant interiors, minibars, TVs, and private bathrooms, while the on-site restaurant serves up a selection of international favourites and local treats.
The Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa and transfer to the hotel; leisure time for the rest of the day
- Day 2: Take a full-day trip to Wenchi Crater Lake; take in the views of Ethiopian countryside, hike or ride on a mountain trail and take a walk, mule ride or a boat trip to explore the lake; transfers back to the hotel
- Day 3: Leisure day to explore the city
- Day 4: Transfer to the airport for the flight back
The Fine Print:
Cancellation Policy: No modification or cancellation allowed after booking confirmation. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable to another destination once confirmed. Validity: Valid until 30 May 2018. Price is for 1 person based on a double occupancy. Excluded dates/periods: public festivals, exhibitions and public holidays as announced by the UAE government. You must buy 2 vouchers min. to complete booking. Booking: Must book by 15 May 2018 and at least 15 days before departure.
